You Receive an Error Message When You Try to Retrieve Your Card?

REASON:

OVER 7 DAYS OLD? After 7 days, all cards sent on a particular day are automatically deleted to make room for new cards. Unfortunately, once a card is deleted there is not way to recover it.
CORRECT PICK UP PLACE? Note that we now have 2 DIFFERENT places for finding cards, as we are phasing in a new filing system. Only one will work. See previous topic.
SMALL vs CAPITAL LETTERS: The usual source of a problem when typing a Code are these: Because the Card Code is a part of the WWW address for the card, using a small letter instead of a capital or vice versa will cause the address not to register. This is also true when typing a URL directly.
LOOK-ALIKES: The number 1 looks to the eye the same as the letter l and the number 0 the same as the letter O, but not to the computer.
OTHER SOURCES OF PROBLEMS: Error messages are caused by the wrong code or the wrong directory number or card type. The most common errors are transposed numbers, missing characters, misread characters or a typo. (For card codes with letters, errors are also caused by using a capital where there is a small letter or vice versa.)
MOST RELIABLE WAY TO FIND CARD The easiest and most reliable way to enter a Card Code is to copy (Control key + c) and paste (control key + v) it into place. The only trick with copy and paste is to be sure there are no spaces or other characters before or after the Code. (And to remember the Card Type or Directory Number and to click the SHOW button.)
